Product Description

Introduction:

Petroleum resin is the by-product of petroleum cracking C5, C9 distillate, pre-treatment, polymerization, distillation and other processes produced a thermoplastic resin, it is not a high polymer,
They are oligomers with molecular weights between 300 and 3000. It has low acid value, good miscibility, water resistance, ethanol resistance and chemical resistance, chemical stability to acid and base, and
It has the characteristics of adjusting viscosity and good thermal stability. Petroleum resins are generally not used alone, but as accelerators, regulators, modifiers and other resins used together.

Application:

1.paint
The paint mainly uses C9 petroleum resin, DCPD resin and C5/C9 copolymer resin with high softening point. Adding petroleum resin to the paint can increase the gloss of the paint, improve the adhesion, hardness, acid resistance and alkaline resistance of the paint film.
2. rubber
Rubber mainly uses low softening point of C5 petroleum resin, C5/C9 copolymer resin and DCPD resin. This kind of resin and natural rubber pellets have good mutual solubility, no great impact on the rubber vulcanization process, the addition of petroleum resin in rubber can play a role in increasing viscosity, reinforcing and softening. In particular, the addition of C5/C9 copolymer resin can not only increase the adhesive force between the rubber particles, but also improve the adhesive force between the rubber particles and the cord, which is suitable for high demand rubber products such as radial tires.
3. adhesive industry
Petroleum resin has good adhesion, adding petroleum resin to the adhesive and pressure sensitive tape can improve the adhesive force, acid resistance, alkali resistance and water resistance, and can effectively reduce the production cost.
4.ink industry
Ink with petroleum resin, mainly high softening point C9 petroleum resin, DCPD resin. Adding petroleum resin to ink can play a color, fast drying, brightening effect, improve printing performance and so on.
5. paint industry
Road signs and road marking paint, petroleum resin has good adhesion to concrete or asphalt pavement, and good wear resistance and water resistance, and has a good affinity with inorganic substances, easy coating, good weather resistance, drying fast, high robustness, and can improve the physical and chemical properties of the layer, improve UV resistance and weather resistance.
